CICC is one of the leading Chinese investment banks. The recent developments of international trading business call for an expansion of Securities Settlement & Clearance functions in the Operations department. This creates an opportunity for Specialist who is looking for new challenges and highly-rewarding experience.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Handling day-to-day full set of settlement and clearance functions for SG securities;

• Confirm trades and necessary follow-ups (e.g. settlement instructions) with counterparts;

• Process necessary local reporting including statistic and regulatory reports;

• Participation in process enhancement/improvement project would be required.

Knowledge

• Thorough knowledge of Settlement Rules in SG Stock Market is essential;

• Knowledge of other equities market / accounting is preferable;

• Some understanding on HK or other market securities settlement would be an advantage.

Skills and Abilities

• At least 5 years working experience in Settlement and Clearance functions for SG equities, preferably 3 years of which are of supervisory level;

• Ability in using MS Applications is a pre-requisite;

• Able to work independently and under pressure;

• Good communication skills in English (knowledge of another language e.g. Putonghua or Cantonese is an additional asset).
