REVISED SPEC TO FOCUS IDEALLY ON MANDARIN SPEAKERS 29.1.10 We are working with a leading private equity fund of funds and secondary investor focusing on Asia from its Singapore office. It is looking for an investment associate to join the team. You will source and screen both fund of funds, co-investment and secondary investment opportunities across South East Asia, as well as Australia and New Zealand. We’re looking for people with a great academic background and experience gained in private equity, investment banking or consulting.

The role is based in Singapore. You’ll work on deal sourcing, screening, analysis and due diligence of private equity funds and secondary investments as well as co-investment opportunities in the geographies mentioned earlier. You'll also be involved in fund monitoring and reporting on performance.

You need to be able to show the following skills and experience:

• Have an excellent academic background, MBA or CFA would be a plus
• Strong written and oral communication skills are a must in both English and an additional Asian language - ideally Mandarin
• Analyst M&A or financial services training gained in an international blue chip bank or top consultancy or accountancy firm
• Exposure gained in private equity fund of funds, secondary or co-investment would be ideal
• Strong financial and analytical skills
• Strong commitment to living in Singapore and working across Asia is necessary
• Understanding and familiarity of Private Equity in the South East Asia region is necessary
• Enthusiasm and drive to learn quickly and succeed in the role
